Venezuela Sustainable Agricultural Project

Venezuela, the country which boasts to have the world's largest proven oil reserves, is running out of gas. Such a statement is almost unbelievable for those of us who know and love this nation, and yet it is only the latest of a seemingly unending series of crises.

For the last couple of years, there have been shortages of food, electricity, and medicines. Hyperinflation, corruption, and violent crime have created the largest human migration in the western hemisphere. And while over 4 million people have left the country, many more are left behind to survive the political, social, and economic chaos.

And all of this was before COVID-19 in a country with a shattered healthcare system.

How can anyone find hope in such conditions? How can we help solve such a severe series of problems? We do not have the answers to these questions, but our team led by Luis Rea and a group of staff and volunteers, remain more committed than ever to carrying the message of hope in the name of Jesus to the people of Venezuela.

We are bringing hope to over 700 families in the city of Barquisimeto.

We bring this hope through food distribution, medical care, education, and mentoring. We are now excited to announce the launch of a sustainable farming initiative that will provide both food, training, and jobs for those in the communities we serve.

Most importantly, we are sharing the good news of the gospel, conducting Bible studies, times for prayer, and spiritual counseling.  All of this work is happening in the most adverse challenges and restrictions.

In the middle of all the uncertainty, we know for sure God has not forgotten the people of Venezuela.  Hope Partners is more committed than ever to continue building a bridge of hope and transformation for Venezuela.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 to build and equip a sustainable farm and we are also in need of $2000 a month for operations.

We are asking friends to pray and give to serve the greatest need on our side of the world.

Would you help us reach this goal?
