Hope Partners Costa Rica Internship invites young people with a heart for missions to come and serve the Lord during summer break. I am honored to be chosen to be an intern this summer. I will be serving alongside programs of rescue and transformation within the Hope Center in Costa Rica. I will also be leading within the short-term mission teams as a representative of our Hope Partners Costa Rica staff and I will be taking part in discipleship surrounding service with compassion and leadership training and development.

I want to be an Intern with Hope Partners Costa Rica to gain new perspectives. Stepping outside the comfortable, consumeristic lifestyle of America and sacrificially showing Christ's love through service is something I deeply desire. I look forward to the perspectives I will gain by seeing how Jesus works within a different culture. As a Christian, I strive to be like Jesus, and experiencing Him from a new perspective could only be beneficial

Curiosity is another reason I want to go and be an Intern. When I learned that 100’s of high school students come to the Hope Center in Pavas three times a week, my curiosity was sparked. What is God doing that makes the Hope Center such a magnet for young people? Additionally, I am excited about growing relationships with the other interns, interacting with the children, immersing myself in the culture, and having joyful moments.

I would like to ask you to support me in two ways. First and foremost, Prayer is a key component of this experience. I would ask that you partner with me and 100’s of others in praying for me, the other Interns and the team in Costa Rica as I walk through the process of being used by Him in this capacity.
