Hope Partners Costa Rica Internship invites young people with a heart for missions to come and serve the Lord during summer break. I am honored to be chosen to be an intern this summer. I will be serving alongside programs of rescue and transformation within the Hope Center in Costa Rica. I will also be leading within the short-term mission teams as a representative of our Hope Partners Costa Rica staff and I will be taking part in discipleship surrounding service with compassion and leadership training and development.
I desire to be an intern because I want to share how God has completely transformed my life to others. I love Jesus and have come to the realization that I want to dedicate my entire life to following and serving Him! In the end, He is the only thing that really matters. There are thousands of people in Pavas, Costa Rica that do not know the Lord. Matthew 28:19 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”. God has given me a huge heart of compassion for the kids that are living there—many who come from broken families and have limited resources.
I want to be able to share even just a glimpse of the love that Jesus has for them and show them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved! I truly believe that God has some incredible plans for this upcoming team. Last summer, I had the privilege to work at a Christian family camp in Tyler, Texas. During that time, I learned so much about myself and witnessed God work firsthand in the lives of the families. This summer however, I felt the Lord was leading me in a different direction. While I do not know what my future career will be, I have always felt that God might be calling me into missions. This 10-week internship In Costa Rica will help equip me with leadership and discipleship skills while opening my eyes to see other parts of the world. I know that on my own I can do nothing, but I am excited to see how God works through me and our team this summer!
I would like to ask you to support me in two ways. First and foremost, Prayer is a key component of this experience. I would ask that you partner with me and 100’s of others in praying for me, the other Interns and the team in Costa Rica as I walk through the process of being used by Him in this capacity. Secondly, if the Lord puts it on your heart to give financially you can do so from this website. I am raising $3950 for this experience by May 05, 2026. Your financial support of any size will help me get closer to my goal. Thank you in advance for your partnership in this Intern Experience.
