Hope Partners Costa Rica Internship invites young people with a heart for missions to come and serve the Lord during summer break. I am honored to be chosen to be an intern this summer. I will be serving alongside programs of rescue and transformation within the Hope Center in Costa Rica. I will also be leading within the short-term mission teams as a representative of our Hope Partners Costa Rica staff and I will be taking part in discipleship surrounding service with compassion and leadership training and development.

The Lord used my gap year in 2024/2025 to deeply shape my heart for missions and obedience to His call. During that season, I had the opportunity to serve in Guatemala, South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, and Indonesia, where I witnessed God moving powerfully across cultures and communities. Through each experience, my faith was stretched as I learned to depend on the Lord daily, and I saw firsthand that the gospel is alive and active in every nation. What began as a step of obedience during my gap year has grown into a lasting desire to continue participating in the work God is doing around the world.

I am currently studying Christian Ministry with an emphasis in Global Ministry at Grand Canyon University, and this ten-week mission trip to Costa Rica with Hope Partners International feels like a continuation of that calling. Serving alongside The Hope Partners team in Costa Rica will allow me to join in what God is already doing through relational ministry, discipleship, and practical service. My prayer is to be a faithful servant who reflects the love of Christ in both word and action, while growing in humility, dependence on God, and obedience to His leading. I believe this season will further prepare me for a lifetime of ministry wherever the Lord calls me.
