Hope Partners Costa Rica Internship invites young people with a heart for missions to come and serve the Lord during summer break. I am honored to be chosen to be an intern this summer. I will be serving alongside programs of rescue and transformation within the Hope Center in Costa Rica. I will also be leading within the short-term mission teams as a representative of our Hope Partners Costa Rica staff and I will be taking part in discipleship surrounding service with compassion and leadership training and development.

I want to be an intern with Hope Partners Costa Rica because I have a passion for loving kids, a purpose to serve others like Christ, and a heart for others living in poverty. Over the past summer, as I spent intentional time with the Lord, I began to recognize the ways He was working in my heart and calling me toward serving others through missions. As I continued to lean into His calling, I saw all the ways He has been weaving together different passions and experiences I have had to form my heart. I truly love being with kids and seeing the unique way that they experience the Lord’s love, I have found so much purpose in pouring out and into others around me in my community, and going to the Costa Rica Hope Center a year ago really opened my eyes and touched my heart for those living in areas lacking many necessities and being poverty ridden.

Being an intern this upcoming summer is an experience that I am so blessed to have, and am so excited for as well. I am eager to see the ways that the Lord uses me in Costa Rica, and how He continues to grow my heart for others. Whether it is laughing with children, fellow interns, or staff members, late nights and early mornings preparing to serve, or simply praying over the community and each heart we come in contact with, I am expectant of God and overjoyed in anticipation! I love holding onto what Galatians 5:13-14 reminds us, “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

I would like to ask you to support me in two ways. First and foremost, Prayer is a key component of this experience. I would ask that you partner with me and 100’s of others in praying for me, the other Interns and the team in Costa Rica as I walk through the process of being used by Him in this capacity. Secondly, if the Lord puts it on your heart to give financially you can do so from this website. I am raising $2950 for this experience by May 05, 2026. Your financial support of any size will help me get closer to my goal. Thank you in advance for your partnership in this Intern Experience.
