Hope Partners Costa Rica Internship invites young people with a heart for missions to come and serve the Lord during summer break. I am honored to be chosen to be an intern this summer. I will be serving alongside programs of rescue and transformation within the Hope Center in Costa Rica. I will also be leading within the short-term mission teams as a representative of our Hope Partners Costa Rica staff and I will be taking part in discipleship surrounding service with compassion and leadership training and development.

 My walk with Christ has been a journey marked by exponential growth, and to this day the Lord continues to work on my heart daily. In the past couple of years, the Lord has continued to place a calling to serve His people on my heart, and I’ve found myself in multiple incredible opportunities that He has provided to extend His love, the most impactful of these positions being in the shadows of San Jose, Costa Rica, in Pavas. I have had the privilege of serving the Lord in Costa Rica for the past two summers, for a week in 2024 with a mission team, and for a month as a short-term intern in 2025. Each time I’ve experienced the Lord’s presence while serving in Costa Rica, the people of Pavas and their daily realities of spiritual and physical poverty continue to leave a lasting impact on my heart.

The call to serve the Lord is not one that comes and goes, it is a calling that grows stronger every day out of a love for His people. Following an abundance of prayer, I decided to reapply with Hope Partners for a position as a long term intern, and I am beyond blessed to have been offered and to accept the position as a long term intern. I thank the Lord daily for all that Hope Partners is able to impact all around the world, and I am so very blessed that I get to join them in Costa Rica this summer as an intern.
